Stayed here for four nights and had a great time. Great accomodations, great food, great owners a definite "return spot" should we come back to the area.
This is a charming little lodge in a nice location in the White Mountains. We were only there for 2 nights, but we had a lovely stay and enjoyed being close to hiking and good restaurant options in Littleton. Our room was quiet and cozy on the second floor and the guests were friendly, but mostly kept to themselves. Carol and Michael are friendly hosts (especially Michael, who took lots of time showing us around and making sure we had suggestions for hiking trails). There’s a lovely fire pit and hot tub outside and a gorgeous view of Mount Washington out the back. If you’re in the area, it’s a nice place to be!
Our stay at Bear Mountain Lodge was by far one of the best experiences to be had. We were welcomed with open arms to a place surrounded by beautiful pure nature. The charm of the woodsy rustic house brought us such joy. Homemade breakfast was delicious and had an incredible view of Mt. Washington! The service was amazing and I can't say enough about the owner Mike. We will definitely return someday. We have found our getaway!
Tranquility, beautiful, fantastic!!! Just a few words to describe The Bear Mountain Lodge. My husband and I stayed at the Bear Mountain Lodge for two nights, it was also our first bed and breakfast experience and the bar has been set. Mike greeted us upon arrival, explained where everything was located, gave us a brief tour. He was exceptional. His wife Carol equally as exceptional. Their hospitality is above what I had expected. This was a perfect weekend getaway, the Lodge is Beautiful with breathtaking views of the mountains, very clean, plenty of activities to do within the lodge if you do not want to venture out. The breakfast is out of this world, Blueberry crumble french toast bake with Poached Plums!!!!! It was soooooo good!!! I am trying to find a recipe to duplicate this delicious meal :)... I am also booking our next visit for the fall We stayed in the Cowboy Roundup room, cathedral ceilings, steam shower, amazing views of the mountains, king size COMFORTABLE bed, PERFECT!!! Go to Bear Mountain Lodge, it is an experience you must have!!!! Unplug and enjoy!!!! Thank you Mike and Carol for an amazing weekend. it felt like home away from home and we are grateful....
My Wife and I spent the last 3 days here and were sad to leave... This lodge is absolutely beautiful! Mike and his Wife are 2 of the bests hosts we could ask for! The breakfast is to die for! The room was spotless when we arrived, the views of Mt Washington are breath taking. There were many other guests staying there while we were and the place was completely silent and as relaxing as you could ever ask for! We will definitely be returning as soon as possible! 2 nights is just not enough of this picturesque Lodge!
